Democracy, an ecstasy towards a political upbringing and power!

Politics in India has been an edge of this democratic upbringing. Question lies in "Are we democratic?"
India, a country with approx 1.3 billion population, is the largest democratic country in the world. A country that is so rich in culture, with more than 170 languages and 540+ dialects is framed and routed, and bounded within a discipline, the Constitution of India.
The Constitution of India, which is the known supreme law of the country is a document that lays down the framework that demarcates fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and sets out fundamental rights, directive principles, and the duties of citizens.
Nevertheless, bounded into such discipline, lies another part of our democracy; which is not being democratic by choice.
The picture here revolves around the loophole which we carry, as "The Constitution of India".
Likely to say, it is a surprising act of acceptance that holds both pros and cons, depending on ones own will and subjects. 'The Constitution of India' as it says is a document, written by the people, in acceptance of majority of the people, and can be changed or amended accordingly again by the people.
These 'People" are called the Politicians, the members of the upper house and lower house, within their power and democratic in nature can make such amendments, likely they think and wish.
The constitutions that set rules for the upliftment of the country and to live by a set of rules also says that if required or wished to, an amendment can be made to the Constitution of India (According to Article 368 of the Constitution of India).
And the Constitution can be changed only by the Parliament, and the parliament is consists of the President and the two Houses known respectively as the Council of States (Rajya Sabha - Upper house) and the House of the People (Lok Sabha - Lower house).
Likely to say our constitutions, our framework of living, our democracy lies in the hand of the people presiding over the parliament.
Are we a democratic country now?
By choice? By faith?
This question stands with us, our human nature, wisdom, knowledge, upbringings. And I guess this is what weakens the democratic power, and governing body of the country.
However, to make it look neutral, we are known to say that our democratic power lies within us, the power to elect our governing power, the power to cast our vote.
Is it true? Does the power of democracy vested upon us by true mean?

Let us check out few headlines from the elections happening in our country, for the power we vote for.

Now, who are these people? And with whom these power of vote is vested upon?

Are we voting through our democratic power? Or fear?

The question stands still.
